HARRISONBURG, VA - The Mary Baldwin University volleyball team began the season this weekend at the Eastern Mennonite University Invitational.

Friday evening, the Fighting Squirrels battled Lynchburg College and Methodist University falling 0-3 in each.

Saturday, Mary Baldwin returned to take on Eastern Mennonite University and Salem College.  The Fighting Squirrels fell 0-3 in both matches.

Brenda Korlison and Brittany Sharon led the team on offense tallying 9 kills each.  Tatyana Johnson led the defense with 22 digs.  Sharon added 18 digs while Korlison finsihed with 8 digs.  Johnson also added 4 kills.

Mary Baldwin University, 0-4, plays their home opener Tuesday evening against Randolph at 7:00pm then hosts Hollins University Wednesday also at 7:00pm.
