Mary Baldwin softball's Dana Micone has been named to the USA South All-Sportsmanship Team.

"Dana embodied what sportsmanship stands for. She's selfless and would do anything we asked of her. She was always respectful and supportive of her teammates, cheering them on and doing whatever it took to help the team," said head coach Christy Shelton. "She dealt with a shoulder injury and would never let that stand in the way of helping the team, whether it was catching bullpens or even playing in a game one time."

The freshman made her impact felt on the field, finishing second on the team in hits and home runs.
