An All-American Athlete is a member of the All-America team, an honorary team of the best athletes in any given sport from across the country. Athletes are typically selected for these teams based on their outstanding performance. In Cross Country, the thirty-five runners with the fastest times are given this title.
This award is given to the athlete with the highest GPA, named after Mary Jane Donnalley. Ms. Donnalley was a legendary figure in MBU Tennis history, a member of the faculty who was recognized as one of the nation's top tennis authorities and teachers.
