Greensboro, NC - The Mary Baldwin College basketball team played their second USA South Contest on the road this afternoon at Greensboro College.  The Pride, expected to be one of the top teams in the conference this season, jumped out to a 43 - 17 lead at the half and rolled to a 74 - 46 win.  Greensboro shot an impressive 42.9% from inside the arc while also out rebounding the Fighting Squirrels 48-31.  MBC continued to shoot well at the charity stripe making 12 of 15 for 80%.  

Shanice Miles led Mary Baldwin with 13 points.  She was followed closely by Freshman Meagan Barron with 11 and Senior Sabrina Desper with 9.  Sophomore Tiffany Flesher led the team in rebounds with 8.

The Fighting Squirrels will take a break for exams and the holidays before returning for their first home contest on Wednesday, January 4.
