The Mary Baldwin College soccer team traveled to Christopher Newport University to face the Captains in their first USA South Conference game this year.  The Captains proved why they are the top team in the conference scoring their first goal with less than one minute into the game.  They then scored 4 more goals in the span of 4:28.  The Captains (3-5-0, 1-0-0 USAS) allowed no shots by the Fighting Squirrels (3-2-0, 0-1-0 USAS) and easily won 6-0.  Goalie Erica Gaughan had 7 saves.  Mary Baldwin will be back in action Sunday afternoon for their second USA South contest when they play North Carolina Wesleyan College in North Carolina.
