Freshman Meagan Barron of Plymouth, Indiana was selected to the EMU Invitational Volleyball tournament All-Tournament Team sponsored by Hampton Inn and Sleep Inn this past weekend.  She played 4 sets as a setter and the rest of the time as an outside hitter during the tournament.  The coaches for MBC along with each of the opponents that MBC faced voted for their own players as well as the opponent's players in making the selections.

"Meagan worked extremely hard in any position that we placed her in.  Her efforts during her performance were clearly recognized by our coaching staff as well as the other coaches we faced.  She deserves to receive this award because of that.  Her contributions to our team are huge and we hope that she will continue to make progress during this season to make herself an even better volleyball player," stated Head Coach Paul Yee.

The Fighting Squirrels, 0-5, have made some progress and will face Eastern Mennonite University tonight.  The two teams played in the final match of the tournament this past Saturday with EMU winning in three games 25-22, 25-14, and 25-16.  The first whistle blows at 7:00PM.
