Head Coach Homes Tehrani commented on the day. "We played
a good game against the #1 team in the conference. Although
they controlled the game in every aspect they showed enough class
not to humiliate us in front of their Senior Class. They
honored 17 seniors and played an excellent game. This is why they
are #1 in the conference. Overall, I was very pleased with
our team. We had 5 shots and 18 offsides against them.
We played very hard in 90 degree weather without any subs in
the first half. We played as a team today. I'm very
proud of my players."
Mary Baldwin College (5-6, 0-6 USAS) will be back in action
Friday at home when they host Ferrum College at 2:00pm before
taking the road to Georgia to play Piedmont on Saturday at
2:00PM.
