Box Score STAUNTON, VA - Southern Virginia University improved their
record to 2-4 this evening with a 3-0 (25-11, 25-20, 25-13) win
over Mary Baldwin College in volleyball.
The Fighting Squirrels were no match for the visitors offense
which was led by McKenzie Weaver who finished with 11 kills for the
night and Tori Tuttle who followed closely behind with 10.
The Knights also led with 35 digs and 9 aces.
Mary Baldwin College was led by Katelyn Rice who had 5 kills for
MBC. Reilly Kelly and Latoya Diggs each had 6 digs while
Kelly also added 12 assists. The Fighting Squirrels also
finished with 5 aces.
Mary Baldwin College (0-7, 0-0 USAS) will now have a week to
prepare for their first conference matchup. They host Greensboro
College next Thursday at 7:00pm.
