Box Score 2 RALEIGH, NC - The Mary Baldwin College volleyball team continued
to struggle today dropping two USA South Conference volleyball
matches 0-3.
The Fighting Squirrels started slowly in both matches. In
the first, against Methodist University, the Monarchs took the
matches 25-12, 25-18, and 25-17. Allison Graves led Methodist
with 11 kills.
Mary Baldwin's balanced offense was shared by Dominque Green,
Latoya Diggs, and Katelyn Rice who each had 5 kills. Setter
Reilly Kelly added 8 assists while Anahi Trujillo-Camorlinga led
the defense with 13 digs.
In the second match, Meredith started strong taking the first
set 25-8. Mary Baldwin played much better in the second and
third sets (25-19, 25-21) but failed to take a set from the
Avenging Angels.
Katelyn Rice finshed the second match with 10 kills and 10 digs
while Latoya Diggs added 9 kills and 7 digs.
Mary Baldwin College falls to 0-14, 0-6 this season. They
host Ferrum College Tuesday night at 7:00pm.
