Harrisonburg, VA - The Mary Baldwin College volleyball team fell to 0-6 this evening with a 0-3 loss to Eastern Mennonite University.

The Royals rarely trailed as they defeated the visitors 25-18, 25-16, and 25-12.  Rebecca Hardy led the home team with 11 kills.  EMU dominated with 12 blocks and 15 aces.  

Junior Latoya Diggs and freshman Katelyn Rice again led Mary Baldwin with 7 kills each.  Setter Reilly Kelly added 16 assists. Libero Sara Valdivieso had a game-high 12 digs.  Rice added 11.

Head Coach Paul Yee commented, "I thought we did ok for having to fill some positions tonight.  Our inconsistent play hurt us in some long stretches.  I thought we served well and executed some really good plays on our end."

Mary Baldwin College will play their next match at home on Thursday, September 12.  They will take on Southern Virginia at 7:00pm.
