GREENSBORO, NC - Greensboro College used a full court press to easily defeat Mary Baldwin College 87-40 this evening in women's basketball.

The Pride jumped out to a quick lead creating seven steals and scoring seven layups in just under seven minutes of play.  The easy buckets gave the home team a better than 70% shooting average from the floor with six minutes to play in the first half.  

For the night, the home team scored 46 points off of Mary Baldwin turnovers and shot just over 45%. 

The Fighting Squirrels were led by Shanice Miles who finished with a double-double scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

Mary Baldwin College (0- 10, 0-4 USAS) will have the weekend off for some much needed time to heal critical injuries before returning to play at home against Averett University next Wednesday.
