Box Score FERRUM, VA - Ferrum College showed tonight why they sit at the
top of the USA South Women's Basketball standings with a 110-40 win
over Mary Baldwin.
The nationally-ranked Panthers had little trouble defeating the
Fighting Squirrels who played with only five players due to
injuries and one player's absence.
Ferrum used their size to control the boards, outrebounding Mary
Baldwin 53-15. The home team also used their height advantage
to score 44 points in the paint shooting an impressive 56% from the
floor.
Head Coach Bryan Harvey substituted freely finishing the night
with eight players in double figures. The only Panther to have a
double-double tonight was Staunton native Kemani Crawford who
finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Senior Shanice Miles continued her hot streak of late for Mary
Baldwin scoring 24 points this evening. Miles is currently
averaging 20.75 points in the last four games.
Mary Baldwin College (0-14, 0-8 USAS) will be on the road this
weekend facing Meredith College and William Peace University.
