Box Score STAUNTON, VA - The Bridgewater Eagles used a full court press
for all but three minutes in the first half to force 23 Mary
Baldwin turnovers and build a 56-15 lead in the first 20 minutes on
their way to a 94-28 win tonight at Mary Baldwin College.
The visitors shot over 50% from the floor with easy buckets
created by the press. Holly Morgan led the Eagles with 11
points in the first 20 minutes while Molly Shelly and Heather
Cantrell each grabbed 5 rebounds.
Mary Baldwin continued to struggle in the second half finishing
the game with 39 turnovers. Bridgewater took advantage of the
errors scoring 48 points off of the mistakes. The Eagles also
dominated in the paint scoring 26 points at close range.
The home team was lead by Shanice Miles who finished with 10
points and Shantelle Jennings who grabbed 9 rebounds.
Mary Baldwin College (0-7, 0-1 USAS) will be on the road this
weekend for two USA South Conference matchups.
