FERRUM, VA - Mary Baldwin College traveled to Ferrum College this afternoon to take on the Panthers in a USA South women's soccer matchup.

Morgan Funck scored the first goal for the Panthers in the first minute of play off of a penalty kick.  Funck then assisted Ferrum's second goal minutes later to give the home team a 2-0 lead.

Annabelle Pivarnik added a third goal for Ferrum when she scored off of a rebound from a corner kick.

Kelsey Guinan added a fourth goal at the 23:34 minute mark and Funck added her second goal minutes later to give the Panthers a commanding 5-0 lead at the half.

Ferrum added three goals in the second half to take the 8-0 conference win.

The Panthers outshot the Fighting Squirrels 16-2 while tallying 2 saves.  Samantha Chong and Katherine Carrillo-Perez shared the goalkeeper position for Mary Baldwin and finished with 2 and 3 saves respectively.

Mary Baldwin College 2-7 (0-7 USA South) returns home to face Piedmont College on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
