Staunton, VA - The Mary Baldwin College volleyball team battled Roanoke College this evening in a non-conference matchup.  The visitors won 3-0 (25-7, 25-15, 25-11).

The Maroons started strong going on a 13-0 run at the end of the first set making just one error while tallying 13 kills.

Roanoke College continued to dominate offensively in the second set adding 15 kills to their total while making just 6 errors. 

Mary Baldwin struggled all evening never able to get their offense going while Roanoke continued to roll through the third set.  The Maroons also tallied 14 aces this evening.

Katelyn Rice and Jessica Hickman led Mary Baldwin with 5 and 4 kills respectively.  Rice also led the defense with 11 digs.

Mary Baldwin College 0-24 (0-13 USAS) take several days off for fall break before traveling to Averett University next Wednesday.
