FERRUM, VA- The Mary Baldwin Volleyball team traveled to Ferrum, Va this afternoon to take on the Panthers of Ferrum College in a USA South matchup. 

Ferrum took advantage of Mary Baldwin's offensive struggles and won in straight sets (25-13, 25-18, 25-13).

Mary Baldwin was led in kills by Katie Rice with 8 while Jessica Hickman and Kennedy Quick contributed 5 each. Reilly Kelly totaled 15 assists and Xenna Belfield had 8 digs.

Ferrum College was led by Jordan Link who totaled 12 kills, Emily Danner who contributed with 25 assists, and Sarah Hendrix who had 9 digs.

Head Coach Paul Yee said after the match, "We need to prepare better. We knew the opponent, we just need to execute over time better."

Mary Baldwin College 0-17 (0-7 USA South) continue conference play this weekend with a USA South quad match at Piedmont College.
