Box Score 2 Demorest, GA - The Mary Baldwin College volleyball team dropped
two matches on the road this weekend.
The Fighting Squirrels fell to Piedmont 0-3 (25-15, 25-14,
25-12) in the first match.
Jessica Hickman led Mary Baldwin with 9 kills while Reilly Kelly
added 19 assists. Xenna Belfield led the defense with 12 digs
and Kelly was close behind with 10.
In the second match of the day, Mary Baldwin faced Greensboro
College. The Pride won 3-0 (25-12, 25-23, 25-17).
Katelyn Rice led the offense with 8 kills and was followed
closely by Hickman with 7. Reilly Kelly again led the team in
assists with 17 while Xenna Belfield finished with 15 digs. Makayla
Scott added 8 digs.
Mary Baldwin College 0-19 (0-9 USAS) return home to face William
Peace on Thursday before traveling to Maryville Tennessee next
weekend.
