Offense Key to William Peace Volleyball Win

STAUNTON, VA - The Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels Volleyball Team hosted the Pacers of William Peace University in a USA South matchup this afternoon.

William Peace won 3-0 (25-8, 25-15, and 25-9) with a consistent, powerful offense.  The Pacers finished with 41 kills and just 7 errors. 

Mary Baldwin struggled offensively finishing with just 18 kills in the match. 

Sarah Crumbly led Mary Baldwin's offense hitting a season high .222 with 2 kills, no errors, and
9 attempts. Katie Rice led in kills with 8 and Jessica Hickman contributed 5. Reilly Kelly
totaled 14 assists. Xenna Belfield and Makayla Scott added 9 and 6 digs respectively.

The Pacers were led by Megan Mansfield with 10 kills while Tempest Frazier added 9. Baylee
Maughon had 25 assists while Carson Wilson contributed with 11 digs.

Mary Baldwin College 0-20 (0-10 USA South) will continue conference play this weekend at Maryville College. The Fighting Squirrels face Maryville College and Covenant College
