STAUNTON, VA - Ferrum College showed why they are ranked 15th in the country tonight as they easily defeated Mary Baldwin 99-31.

The Panthers struck first when Jacole Hairston made a free throw in the first minute and never looked back building a 26-4 lead in the first 10 minutes.

Ferrum shot nearly 60% from the floor scoring 56 of their points in the paint while outrebounding Mary Baldwin 51-23.

Shanice Miles led all scorers with 19 points.  Lindsey Poirot and Shantelle Jennings each grabbed 5 rebounds for Mary Baldwin.

Jacole Hairston led Ferrum with 16 points.  She was followed by Kylene Culler and Lindsay Martin with 13 points each.  Shea Smith added 11 points and an impressive 11 assists.

Mary Baldwin College (0-23, 0-17 USAS) finish their season this weekend on the road when they take on Methodist University and N.C. Wesleyan College.
