STAUNTON, VA - Covenant College remained undefeated in the USA South Athletic Conference this afternoon when they defeated Mary Baldwin 12-1 in women's soccer.

The visitors jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first half then added six more goals in the final 45 minutes.

Sophia Gianis and Anna Porch scored three goals each for the Scots while teammates Christy Barton and Katherine Keller added two goals each.

Bridget Lane scored Mary Baldwin's only goal at the 55:31 minute mark.

Starting goalie Hayley Gillen had two saves in the first half for the Fighting Squirrels while goalie Samantha Chong grabbed 6 saves in the second half.

Mary Baldwin College 2-5 (0-3 USAS) host Maryville College tomorrow at 2:00pm.
