STAUNTON, VA - Meredith College defeated Mary Baldwin University 10-0 this afternoon in USA South soccer action.

The visitors took the lead when Meredith McCarty scored her third goal of the season just over 10 minutes into the game.  At the half, they led 4-0 and held a 3-0 advantage in corner kicks.  They also outshot Mary Baldwin 27-1.

The Avenging Angels added 6 goals in the final 45 minutes.

Mary Baldwin's goalkeeper, Brittany Tenn, tallied a season high 20 saves for the game. 

Mary Baldwin University, 0-12 (0-7 USAS), travel to Greensboro for their next contest on Saturday, October 8.
