After the game, first year head coach Kyle Congleton said, "My inaugural season in coaching collegiate soccer might not have turned out the way I had hoped but I have sincerely enjoyed working with this young team. Although the results do not appear to have gone our way, we certainly saw improvement over the length of the season, both on and off the field. Even with challenging circumstances like losing our leading goal scorer and our only senior on the team members demonstrated the type of character that are consistent with our mission of “developing women student-athletes into confident, healthy and productive citizens.” I am excited about the opportunities in front of us and look forward to introducing new student-athletes to our program."
