STAUNTON, VA - The Mary Baldwin University volleyball team celebrated Senior Day this aftenoon in their final home match of the season.  The Fighting Squirrels fell to Methodist University 0-3 (19-25, 13-25, and 16-25).

The Monarchs used a balanced offense led by Brittany Ter Meer who tallied 11 kills.  Jasmine Tapscott followed with 9 kills while Cassidy Hayes, Chyenne Pump, and Brittany Lewis added 8 each.

Mary Baldwin was led by senior Katelyn Rice who tallied 10 kills this afternoon.  Rice finishes her career with 1145 kills which places her second on Mary Baldwin's All-time Career Kills list.  Rice finishes just 22 shy of Colena Roberts' record of 1167 All-time Career kills. 

Reilly Kelly again led the team this afternoon with 23 assists.  The senior from Kill Devils Hill, NC tallied 2,105 assists in her career which places her second as well on Mary Baldwin's All-time Career Assists list.

Seniors Farrah Fullerton and Jessica Hickman were also honored this afternoon.  Fullerton finishes 6th in career blocks.  The middle blocker improved each season finishing her career with 462 kills.  Jessica Hickman also steadily improved throughout her career and finished her senior season with the most kills of any season. 

Mary Baldwin University finishes the season 4-25 (1-14 USAS).
