STAUNTON, VA - Meredith College defeated Mary Baldwin 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-12) this evening in USA South volleyball action. Meredith, who is undefeated in conference play, currently sits at the top spot in the East Division.

The Avenging Angels executed an almost flawless offense tallying just 5 attack errors in the match.  The balanced offense was led by Karlie Long and Caroline Corey who finished with 10 and 9 kills respectively.   Haley Reeg and Elizabeth Pattison followed with 7 each.

Katie Rice led Mary Baldwin with 12 kills and 12 digs.  Libero Xenna Belfield also added 12 digs while Reilly Kelly added 20 assists.  Senior Jessica Hickman also contributed 6 kills.

Mary Baldwin University, 4-16 (1-9 USAS), return to play on Tuesday when they host Averett University.
