FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The Mary Baldwin University soccer team traveled to Fayetteville, NC today to open their USA South Conference schedule at Methodist University.

The Monarchs scored their first goal at the 12:15 minute mark when Jasmine Newman scored from an assist by Sara Snotherly. The home team added 5 more goals in the half on their way to a 12-0 win. 

Brittney Tenn, Mary Baldwin's goalkeeper, tallied 18 saves in the 90 minutes of play. 

Mary Baldwin University, 0-6, continue play on Sunday at N.C. Wesleyan College.
