Box Score STAUNTON, VA - William Peace University improved their record to 1-3 in the USA South Athletic Conference with a 10-0 win Mary Baldwin University this afternoon.
The Pacers used a balanced scoring attack to take a 3-0 lead at the half. Amelia Melching, Kayla Bray, and Janae Mays each scored one goal in the first 45 minutes. The visitors outshot Mary Baldwin 15-1 in the first half and held a 2-0 advantage in corner kicks.
William Peace continued to control the ball in the second half and build on their lead.
Brittany Tenn, Mary Baldwin's goalkeeper, tallied 14 saves in the game.
Mary Baldwin University, 0-9 (0-4 USAS), travel to Ferrum College on Wednesday to take on the Panthers.
