The Mary Baldwin University volleyball team traveled to LaGrange College on Saturday to take on LaGrange and Piedmont College in USA South matchups.  Mary Baldwin fell to LaGrange College 0-3 (21-25, 14-25, 12-25) and Piedmont 0-3 (12-25, 9-25, 11-25).

Against LaGrange, Makayla Scott led Mary Baldwin with 8 kills.  Reilly Kelly tallied 11 assists while Xenna Belfield led the defense with 11 digs.  In the second match against Piedmont, Jessica Hickman led the team with 7 kills while Makayla Scott added 5.  Kelly added 17 assists.  Brittany Sharon led the defense with 8 digs.

On Sunday, the Fighting Squirrels took on Huntingdon College in the first match of the day.  This was the closest match of the weekend with Mary Baldwin falling short 1-3 (26-28, 25-22, 16-25, 23-25).

Katelyn Rice and Farrah Fullerton each tallied 12 kills while Reilly Kelly added 29 assists.  Xenna Belfield led the defense with 14 digs while Rice added 10.

In the second match of the day, Mary Baldwin fell to new USA South member Agnes Scott 0-3.

Mary Baldwin University, 3-11 (0-4 USAS), travel to Rocky Mount, NC this weekend to take on Maryville, Salem, Covenant, and Wesleyan in two USA South quad matches.
