HARRISONBURG, VA - The Mary Baldwin University volleyball team completed play this afternoon at the Eastern Mennonite University Invitational.

The Fighting Squirrels fell to Hood 0-3 this morning then dropped a close 1-3 match this afternoon to host Eastern Mennonite University.

In the first match of the day. Mary Baldwin lost 16-25, 16-25, and 20-15.  Katie Rice led the team with 8 kills.  She was followed closely by Jessica Hickman with 7.  Reilly Kelly added 23 assists and 9 digs.

In their final match of the tournament, Mary Baldwin lost a close match 25-23, 28-30, 19-25, and 11-25 to the Royals.

The Fighting Squirrels were led by Katie Rice with 15 kills.  She was followed by Farrah Fullerton and Jessica Hickman with 7 and 6 kills respectively.  Reilly Kelly added 31 assists while Xenna Belfield tallied 17 digs.

Mary Baldwin University, 0-3, continue play Wednesday when they go on the road to take on Hollins University.
