ROCKY MOUNT, NC - The Mary Baldwin University volleyball team dropped two matches this afternoon in a USA South Quad Match at Rocky Mount, NC.  The Fighting Squirrels lost to Maryville College 1-3 and Salem College 0-3.

Mary Baldwin took the first set from Maryville College 25-21 then lost the next three matches 22-25, 16-25, and 8-25.  Katelyn Rice led the offense with tied with a game-high 14 kills while also tallying 13 digs.  Reilly Kelly added 25 assists while Xenna Belfield led the defense with 16 digs.

In the second match Salem used a balanced scoring attack to defeat Mary Baldwin in straight sets 25-16, 25-18, 25-15.

Katelyn Rice again led the offense with 13 kills while Reilly Kelly totalled 20 assists and led the defense with 9 digs. 

Mary Baldwin University 3-13, (0-6 USAS),  continue conference play tomorrow when they take on Covenant College and Wesleyan (GA) College.
