FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The Mary Baldwin University volleyball team continued USA South Conference play this week.

On Tuesday, the Fighting Squirrels traveled to Salem College falling 0-3 to the Spirits.  Makayla Scott led the offense with 7 kills while Kelley Slack led the defense with 10 digs.

Mary Baldwin University battled Methodist University and N.C. Wesleyan College on Saturday falling to both teams in straight sets.

Brenda Korlison finished the day with 7 kills while Tatyana Johnson and Michaela Beverly added 3 each.  Brittany Sharon tallied 11 assists.  The defense was led by Kelley Slack (8 digs), Makayla Scott (5 digs) and Michaela Beverly (5 digs).

Mary Baldwin University, 0-27 (0-12 USAS), finish the season next week with four matches.  On Tuesday, Mary Baldwin celebrates Senior Night in their final home match.  The Fighting Squirrels take on Ferrum at 7pm.  Thursday night the team travels to EMU then finish in a USA South quad match at William Peace on Saturday.
