The Mary Baldwin volleyball team lost to Averett 3-0 Wednesday night in USA South Athletic Conference action. The Cougars won the match 25-17, 25-12, 25-12.

Rachel Christian led the Fighting Squirrels with nine kills. Emily Link added eight assists and Soleil Rios Rolon finished with 11 digs.

MBU, now 5-16 overall and 1-9 in the conference will host a conference quad match Saturday. The Squirrels will play William Peace and Meredith.
