MBU Drops Non-Conference Match To Roanoke

Roanoke College swept Mary Baldwin 25-9, 25-16, 25-19 in a non-conference volleyball contest Thursday evening.

The Maroons jumped out to early leads in each set to turn back the Fighting Squirrels.

Rachel Christian and Sydney Clarke led MBU at the net with 10 kills each. Emily Link finished with 16 assists and Soleil Rios Rolon added 15 digs to lead the Squirrles.

Mary Baldwin, now 5-20 overall, returns to conference play Saturday when the Squirrels travel to Rocky Mount N.C., for a quad match with games against Methodist and N.C. Wesleyan.
