MISENHEIMER, N.C. - The Mary Baldwin women's soccer team closed out its regular season Saturday with a tough 3-0 road loss at Pfeiffer.

The hosts took a 1-0 lead with a goal late in the first half and then padded the margin with a goal 10 minutes into the second half to lead 2-0. Pfeiffer put the game away with its final goal with just more ean eight minutes left to play.

Pfeiffer made the most of its chances, as the Owls held a slim 10-9 lead in total shots. Mary Baldwin had a 7-4 edge in corner kicks.

Annie Ammons had three of Mary Baldwin's six shots on goal.

The Squirrels finish the regular season with an 8-6-4 overall record and a 4-3-2 mark in the conference.
