The Mary Baldwin University men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 match to North Carolina Wesleyan as well as a 4-1 match to Dvision II Chowan, on Saturday afternoon.
The team of Connor Lindhjem and Austin Garza dropped an 8-0 decision at No. 1 doubles. Geddy Bartosch and Christian Schultz teamed up at No. 2 also falling 8-0.
In singles play, Lindhjem fell 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 and Garza lost 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2.
In the second match at Chowan, Lindhjem and Garaza fell 6-1 at No. 1 doubles while Bartosch and Schultz fell 6-4 in a close match at No. 2.
No. 1 singles Lindhjem and No. 2 singles Garza both fell 6-1, 6-0. Bartosch dropped a 6-3, 6-3 decision at No. 3 while Schultz picked up an 8-2 win at No. 4
MBU's next match is on Monday as they host Averett.
