The Mary Baldwin volleyball team fell twice to Meredith on Sunday to close out the season.

Prior to the matches, MBU honored its two seniors, Madison Cash and Deborah Black.

Meredith (9-4, 6-2 USA South) won the first match 3-1.  They took the first game 25-17 before MBU (0-15, 0-8 USA South) bounced back to take game two 25-17.   The Avenging Angels then won game three by a score of 25-18.  The Fighting Squirrels put up a hard-fought battle in game four, but fell just short at 27-25.

Sydney Clark led Mary Baldwin in kills with 13 and Madison Cash led the way in digs with 32. Emily Link also had 18 digs and 35 assists while Rachel Christian had 11 digs and 12 kills.

Meredith took match two 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-11).

Clarke had 11 digs and five kills. Christian also had six kills and seven digs, while Jada Keene had five digs and four kills.

Link led MBU in assist with 14.
