Box Score MISENHEIMER, N.C. - MAry Baldwin could not overcome a cold-shooting performance Friday evening in a 108-71 conference loss at Pfeiffer.
The Fighting Squirrels shot just 39.5 percent from the field, including a 2-for-18 effort from 3-point range. Mary Baldwin also made less than 50 percent of its free throws, connecting on just 9-of-19 attempts.
MBU trailed by just eight points, 43-35, late in the first half, but the Falcons outscored the Squirrels 9-3 in the final two minutes of the half to lead 52-38 at the break.
Pfeiffer then opened the second half with a 9-2 sourt to push its advantage to 21 points, 61-40.
Brandon Stoudamire made 11 of his 18 shots to lead MBU with 24 points. Tyler Yhomas scored 13 points and Brett Asbury added 11. Dorian Miles poured in 30 points for the Falcons.
