The Mary Baldwin men's tennis team dropped two matches Saturday, losing 9-0 to conference foe Methodist and falling 9-0 to Ferrum in a non-conference contest.
Against a strong Methodist squad, Mary Baldwin's Rene Ramirez and Joseph Bottom had a solid showing at No. 3 doubles, losing by a score of 8-5.
The Fighting Squirrels played two strong matches in doubles action against Ferrum as Eric Leyton and Connor Lindhjem lost 8-4 at No. 1 doubles while Austin Garza and Noah Knick lost by the same score at the No. 2 slot.
Lindhjem lost a close match at No. 2 singles, falling to Ferrum's Patrick Marsh in three sets 6-3, 6-7, 0-1. Mash won the third set tiebreaker, 10-6.
