FREDERICK, Md. - The Mary Baldwin men's tennis team dropped its match Saturday at Hood College, 6-1.
Mary Baldwin picked up its lone point at No. 2 singles where Connor Lindhjem defeated Jeff Fleming in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2.
MBU lost tight matches at No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles.
At the No. 4 singles slot, Hood's Tobi Aroloye held off Mary Baldwin's Rene Ramirez 7-5, 7-6.
Ath the No. 1 doubles position Hood's Kyle Richardson and Fleming slipped past MBU's Lindhjem and Eric Leyton 9-7.
