Box Score 2 HARRISONBURG, Va. - Mary Baldwin dropped a pair of matches Saturday in a tri-match at Eastern Mennonite University.
In the opener, MBU fell 3-0 in a close matchup to Lancaster Biible, losing by scores of 30-28, 25-14, 31-29. Freshman Leah Sherrill recorded a triple double in the match, leading the Squirrels in kills with 10 and assists with 12. She also added 11 digs. Soleil Rios Rolon led the team with 15 digs.
The Squirrels closed out the day with a 3-0 loss to Easterm Mennonite, falling 25-16, 25-22, 25-14.
Megan Andrews had five kills for MBU, followed by Sherrill, Jaci McAlwee and Alexis Edmons with four each. Emily Penny added seven assists and Rolon had seven digs.
