Junior Eric Leyton played a challenging match against Abram Robbins in the No. 1 singles position before Robbins emerged with a 6-1, 6-2 victory during Wednesday's 7-2 Southern Virginia victory over MBU in USA South men's tennis action.

Brandon Kincaid was also active in his 6-1, 6-0 setback vs. Isaac Wardel in the No. 5 singles match.

The Fighting Squirrels have Easter Weekend off and return to action Saturday, April 6 with a conference match at Brevard (11 a.m.).  The following day (4/7), the Fighting Squirrels will challenge Ferrum in a non-conference battle, starting at noon.
