Mary Baldwin's men's soccer team tied the record for most goals in a game and broke the record for largest margin of victory in Wednesday's 6-0 non-conference win over visiting Gallaudet University at SMA Worth Field.
The team's previous records were recorded in a 2022 season-opening win against Christendom, when the Fighting Squirrels posted a 6-1 triumph.

Nicholas Ashley each added a goal and a helper in MBU's first win of the year. Junior

Michael Olguin also found the back of the net for MBU.
Mary Baldwin dominated the contest, taking a 2-0 lead into the break and scoring four times in the first 36 minutes of the second half. The Fighting Squirrels held a 29-4 overall advantage in shots, 11-0 in shots on goal.
MBU returns to action Saturday with its first conference match of the season at Methodist in Fayetteville, N.C. (1 p.m.).
