Box Score The Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels battled hard against the Greensboro Pride but fell 3–0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-13) in Friday's volleyball match.

In the opening set, the Fighting Squirrels fell behind early, 9–1, before rallying to close the gap to three points by the end of the set. Mary Baldwin carried that momentum into the second set, jumping out to an 8–1 lead over the Pride before Greensboro regained control.

Sophomore Kennedy Mills led the Fighting Squirrels with 11 kills, while freshman Kathryn Nguyen recorded a career-high 23 assists. Sophomore Libero Alexa Ammerman contributed across the board with three service aces and a team-high 14 digs.

Mary Baldwin will hit the road again Wednesday, Oct. 29, to take on Southern Virginia University. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
