The Mary Baldwin men's basketball team wrapped up a road exhibition game at High Point University, falling 129–47 Tuesday evening at Qubein Arena. The game was an exhibition contest and did not count toward Mary Baldwin's season.
Mary Baldwin entered the night on a four-game winning streak, and the matchup provided valuable experience against a Division I opponent.
Offensively, the Fighting Squirrels were led by sophomore
Rony Hogarth, who posted a team-high 14 points. Sophomore
Marquis Dunklin and
Jamal Ukaegbu each added seven points, while
DJ Via contributed six points, including a pair of three-pointers.
High Point used its pace and depth to build separation early, but Mary Baldwin continued to compete throughout both halves, focusing on execution and defensive effort.
With the exhibition complete, the Fighting Squirrels now turn their attention back to regular-season action.
Mary Baldwin will face Mary Washington on the road, Tuesday, December 29 for their last final game of 2025. Tipoff is set for 5:00p.m.
