The Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels Men's Basketball team traveled to the Pfeiffer University Falcons to face the number 1 ranked team in the USA South Men's Basketabll Semi-Finals. After a strong start to the game by going up 7 points in the first two minutes and maintaining a solid lead for the first eight minutes, the Fighting Squirrels were unable to maintain their defensive tactics as the Falcons had a pair of 3-point shots to put themselves ahead in the contest. Mary Baldwin was unable to reclaim the lead as the Falcons ran away with the score resulting in a 90-64 Falcons victory and end to the 2024-2025 Mary Baldwin Men's Basketball season.

Mary Baldwin Men's Basketball team finishes the season just over .500 with a 14-13 record (7-7 conference) with their third playoff appearance in a row. The Fighting Squirrels also boasted several individual record-setting performances as graduate students Quintin Hart (1,226 career points) and
Jaden Ignacio (1,077 pts.) became the first players in team history to finish with more than 1,000 career points and junior
Raymond Benton became the first men's basketball player to grab 200 rebounds in a season (205 rebounds).
With its victory over Mary Baldwin, Pfeiffer moves to face North Carolina Wesleyan for the USA South Athletic championship.
