Mary Baldwin University's baseball team finished its first conference series for the 2025 season with a double-header at Greensboro College. After losing the initial contest yesterday, Mary Baldwin lost both of the the double-header games today with the first game being 9-4 and the second game finishing at 10-2.
The first game started at 1:00 pm. Greensboro put up a steady offense throughout the game as slowly built a lead against Mary Baldwin. The Fighting Squirrels attempted a late game rally in the ninth inning by scoring 3 runs, but it ultimately fell short and the Greensboro College Pride won 9-4. #26
Logan Roop led the charge on offense again as he held 2 of the 6 hits that Mary Baldwin had alongside 2 RBIs.
Similar to the first game of the day, Greensboro produced a consistent offense as the game progressed as they slowly ran away with the lead resulting in a 10-2 loss for Mary Baldwin. #6
Joe Norman was patient at the plate in the second game as he collected a hit and two walks in his four plate appearances. #34

Mary Baldwin's baseball team returns to action this Tuesday, 3/18 to host Bridgewater College before departing to face Washington and Lee for the second time on Thursday, 3/20.Â
