Mary Baldwin baseball picked up a 13–12 win over Brevard on Sunday afternoon. The game marked the third contest of a three-game weekend series.

The two teams traded momentum throughout the afternoon as both offenses produced in a high-scoring contest.
Brevard opened the scoring in the second inning when Tyson Hinkle stole home to give the Tornados a 1–0 lead. Mary Baldwin responded in the bottom half as junior
Caden Smith launched a two-run home run to left-center for the Fighting Squirrels to tie the game 2–2.
Brevard regained control with a three-run fourth inning. Gavin Grant delivered a two-run single and Moe Love Jr. added an RBI groundout to push the Tornados in front 5–2.

The back-and-forth battle continued through the middle innings as Brevard built an 8–6 lead behind RBI hits from Tyson Hinkle and Davis Anders, along with a sacrifice fly from Kacey Shanks.

The Fighting Squirrels broke the game open in the seventh. Michael started the rally with an RBI single before Sido delivered the biggest swing of the day, lining a three-run double to right field to cap a five-run inning and give Mary Baldwin a 13–8 advantage.
Brevard mounted one final push in the eighth inning. Bryson Genwright hit a solo home run and Davis Anders added another RBI double before Gavin McCoy drove in a run with a single to trim the deficit to 13–11.
Mary Baldwin's bullpen held off the late charge as

to secure the victory.
