BUENA VISTA, VA -  The Fighting Squirrel Tennis Team traveled to Buena Vista, Virginia
today to take on the Knights of Southern Virginia University. This is a make-up of a previously
postponed match. Southern Virginia took the win with an 8-1 victory.

Mary Baldwin scored early with number three doubles (Sakurako Ishii/Jochebed Koomson) defeating Ashley Adamson and Heidi Lee 8-0. Number one doubles (Alexa Cincinnati/Alayah
Austin) and number two doublels (Miangel Hite/Jeni-Lee MacLaughlin) lost 5-8 and 8-0
respectively. In singles play, the Fighting Squirrels lost each match in straight sets. 

Mary Baldwin College (0-6, 0-3 USA South) will continue with conference play on Wednesday
March 18th at Ferrum College.  The match begins at 3:00pm.
