STAUNTON, VA - Southern Virginia University edged out Mary Baldwin College 5-4 in women's tennis this afternoon in a non-confrence matchup.

Southern Virginia took a 2-1 advantagee after doubles play taking the #1 and #2 matches 8-2.  Mary Baldwin won at the #3 spot when Jeni-Lee MacLaughlin and Miangel Hite outscored Ashley Adamson and Alexis Romero 8-4.

In singles play, Southern Virginia took the top three spots while Miangel Hite (4), Jochebed Koomson (5), and Jeni-Lee MacLaughlin (6) took the final three spots.
