FAYETTEVILLE, NC. - The Mary Baldwin College tennis team completed their season with a 0-9 loss to #1 Methodist University this afternoon.  The Monarchs finished the season undefeated in the USA South Athletic Conference.

Methodist took the three doubles matches without giving up a game.  The Monarchs continued to dominate the match showing why they are the top team.

After the match, Head Coach Paul Yee said, "I think we saw our players really working on implementing things we worked on over the season in their matches today. We hit some good shots in tough situations and made the most of our opportunities. We competed better against a really good opponent and just stayed more composed on the court."

Mary Baldwin College finishes the season 3-9 in the conference having defeated Greensboro College, William Peace University, and Ferrum College.
