WPU expanded their lead in the 26th minute, as Donnie Leahy headed one in off an assist from Jorge Aguilar.
MBU (0-1. 0-1 USA South) was unable to capitalize on any chances in the first half including three corner kick attempts.
In the 51st minute the Fighting Squirrels almost had one, as a shot by Brandon John hit off the post.
Mary Baldwin's final chance came in the 88th minute as a bicycle kick attempt by Ousmane Dansoko went over the crossbar.
The Pacers out shot MBU 8-7. Jacob had four saves in the shutout win.
Obdulio Argueta had three saves on the day for MBU.
